Il Giardino dell’Arte was born from a deep and enduring love for Capri. Over 15 years ago, Franco set out to create a place where that love could be shared, not through words, but through warm hospitality, quiet beauty, and everyday simplicity.
What began as a personal dream has become a peaceful refuge, where guests are welcomed like old friends and invited to discover the island the way Franco sees it: authentic, generous, and timeless.

Our Story
Before it became a guest house, Il Giardino dell’Arte was a working winery, a place where nature, care, and rhythm shaped daily life. When Franco discovered the land, he saw more than vines and views; he saw a future where guests could feel at home, surrounded by silence, gardens, and light. What was once a vineyard is now a peaceful retreat, where every corner still carries the warmth of its past.

Amazing stay, thank you so much to Franco and his team for looking after us. We felt so welcomed and they couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was incredible and served on your own terrace. Lots of drink and snack options and well priced, loads of places to sit to admire they beautiful garden or the views of the sea and especially the sunset. The room was much nicer than expected, very airy and bright.
Comfy bed and have everything we needed and more. Only a short but lovely walk into Anacapri which is much nicer and less touristy than Capri itself. Would highly recommend staying here!

I could not recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be returning next year. The hotel is run by a lovely family that could’ve not welcomed us in a warmer way.
Our room was spectacular and the garden+pool absolutely amazing. The hotel is in anacapri so located away from all the crowds with one of the best views, that you can enjoy while having a wonderful breakfast. I’ve shared photos with family and friends and they’re all planning on visiting this slice of heaven soon.

If 7 star rating existed, this family run hotel would deserve it. Comfortable, clean, welcoming. The setting is spectacular with incredible sunsets. Franco the owner with his two warm and kind daughters Raffaella and Aurelia made the stay an incredible ones. The room was very special. The home made breakfast added an warm touch. Magnificent from every aspect. Very grateful for the experience.

This is a family run hotel and the hospitality is like nothing else. Franco and his daughter will make you feel just at home! Their raviolis are the best! So far the best dish we have had in our whole stay in Italy! I would truly recommend staying here.

The apartment in Il Giardino dell’ Arte was truly beautiful with a nice terrace under the olive tree. The owners(family run) were so kind and helpful, thank you all again for everything. Location with its gardens and views over the sea was just amazing. If you are looking for a calm and beautiful stay on Capri island, with a spectacular sunset spot, this is it.

We had a wonderful stay at Il Giardino dell’Arte for two nights. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the breakfast served on the terrace with a breathtaking view was excellent. The staff were friendly and always available to help. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions.
